This is an absolute cracker of a log with openings at both ends. Simply add a couple of ferns or plants of your choice and you will be the envy of all who see it.
This is a Vee shaped log. It has openings at both ends and a drain hole positioned perfectly in the centre bottom all done by mother nature. I have fitted a Stainless Steel eye hook to hang it up from. At one end I did enlarge the hole slightly, just to make a little more room to fit a plant and some potting mix in. At the other end I could fit a 100mm pot straight in, so I figured this hole was big enough. Finished off with a coat of water based decking oil just to give it a uniform color.
Sizing of this beauty is 580mm across the width of the Vee. 400mm high from the lowest point to the highest point and 230mm thick, through the log. And she weighs a whopping 9kgs even though it's hollow.
