This old time classic toy, the "Jacobs Ladder" is not only fun for kids to play with but is intriguing to almost anyone who is watching regardless of their age... How does it work?

These ones are made from an old set of timber drawers that were past their used by date. Untreated Brown Pine with at least 3 coats of clear gloss estapol applied to highlight the grain. Held together with some colorful ribbon and brightly colored thumb tacks.

If the ribbon appears loose that's because loose ribbon is the "secret" to how this toy works. It is not a design fault.

Each one is made using slightly different color patterns, so you'll be able to tell yours apart from the rest.
